"Treepaw" Furyclaw hurried over to her apprentice. She licked him furiously trying to dry him off before he got sick. He was still a young cat so getting wet he could easily get a could. The she-cat draped her fluffy tail over his shoulders. "Geez, don't use all you weight in you force be light, fish don't way that much" The warrior looked back at the Earthclan cat on the otherside of the river. "I'm very sorry about this" she dipped her head and just as that happened a large tom came through the bushes on the other side, Soulkeeper the deputy.

Treepaw stooped down and backed up, "I don't need you to warm me up. I'm fine, just moist." He started licking himself dry.

"Is that your kit?" Soulkeeper watched the two lightclan cats scramle. "Huh?! Oh no this is my apprentice, Treepaw, I am Furyclaw, I-I guess should treat closer to an adult now" Soulkeeper noded "It seems" Furyclaw was flustered in her embarassment. She was a fairly new warrior and wasn't quite sure on how to go about this.

Iceblaze trotted to the edge of the river, gazing across at Soulkeeper. "Greetings, Soulkeeper. I apologize, again, for Treepaw's stumble. It was just a mistake, please don't try to harm Lightclan's apprentices. I saw that push into the river. What if he had drowned? It could've sparked an unneeded battle." Iceblaze said sternly, eyes narrowed. It had sounded like a speech but he didn't care. He meant every word. Iceblaze could sense Furyclaw's nervousness and rested his tail-tip on her shoulder. "Now, I think we should be on our way. I'm sure theres more fish upstream."

Treepaw padded close to the river. "I'm sorry I almost drowned on your side of the territory," he said so calmly it sounded like the drowning wasn't there. "I should have found the other side on my side in all the confusion." his voice stayed level, and he simply padded over to Iceblaze and sat down grooming himself.

Furyclaw shook away the nervous feeling inside and let her Warrior side stick. "Yes, beside with all this misshap they've been scared away." She got to her paws and touched her tail to Treepaw's head, signifying for them go. The whole time Furyclaw had the vurning sensation that the tom was watching her pelt walk off, little did she know it was of amusement.

Treepaw tried to bite her tail tip as it touched his head but missed by a mile. He then saw a butterfly and became absorbed in it.

Iceblaze started padding alongside the river and laughed softly at Treepaw's distraction. "Come, Treepaw. We still have to teach you how to stay out of the river."

Treepaw didn't take his eyes off his butterfly and called to the deputy, "Yeah, sure." He started following the butterfly away.

Furyclaw stopped when she saw that fish were in the upper part of the river. "Here we go, perfect spot" The sun glistened on the surface of the water revealing the shiny scales of the fish as the swam unaware of the created sitted on the shore. "Point one, never let your shadow cross over the water, It'll scare them with the sudden movement" Furyclaw redistributed her weight into a small crouch at the edge. "When choosing to attack try to predict what the fish will do, once you have an idea where it will swim next strike, cup up the fish with claws if needed and the deliver the final blow" Furyclaw repeated her instructions in a flash. Now there was a limp sliver body laying upon the pebbles. "Understand?"

Freekit watched them from the bushes. She normally wasn't to be out of camp, but she wanted to be free like her name. "I wish I could hunt fish." She muttered sadly to herself. There were alot of things she wished would happen. If she was an apprentice, she would be out with them right now. Freekit felt horrible. Everyone here had their mother in their own clan, when her's was in Cloudclan. Well, the leader of Cloudclan really. Freekit flopped down in the bush. "It's just not fair." She squeaked.

Treepaw nodded and swiped out a bunch of water scaring off the fish. "Sorry I thought I-" He cut himself off with a sniff of the air. He followed the scent to Freekit and ducked his head into the bush, "What's up?" he asked not questioning her about what she was doing here or telling her to go back to camp but the informal question what's up.

Freekit looked up at him. "Oh hi Treepaw. I'm just upset. I mean, I should have been an apprentice by now." She squeaked. She then remembered that she wasn't to leave camp. "Please don't tell that I'm not in camp!" She begged.

Furyclaw lifted from her crouch with ears pricked. "It's a little to late for that, Freekit" The mentor called at the bushes where apprentice stood, beckoning them to come out in the open. "You really shouldn't be out of camp" the she-cat mewed kindly understanding her urge for adventure, she felt it too. She wrapped her tail elegantly around her front paws.

Freekit walked out into the opening with her head hung. "It's not fair. I'm 6 moons old and I'm not an apprentice yet. It's not fair!" She squeaked.
