FreeHeart licked her tail and suddenly was wrecked in pain. She let out loud wails of pain. "There coming!" Came from the nursery. "My kits! Where's Flamestreak?!"

Hawkstar flicked her tail. "Sammy. It's time." She heard FreeHeart yowling. "Hold that thought!" She dashed to the medicine cat's den and squeezed in. "ThunderHeart!" She shouted. "My daughter's kitting!"

FreeHeart gave one last push and out came the last kit. She breathed a sigh of relief. She licked one she-kit on the top of the head. "Flickerkit." One little tom, who looked nothing like the others, had his mouth open in protest, demanding milk. "Radiokit." FreeHeart looked at Flamestreak. "What should we name the other two?"

FreeHeart purred. "They're lovely." She licked her mate's cheek. Hawkstar pushed into the nursery and looked at the kits. "They're beautiful, FreeHeart. I've never been so proud." She licked the queen on the head. "Thanks mama." FreeHeart replied as the kits started suckling.

Sammy walked to the end of the Clan territory, careful to not cross borders. She hid behind a bush and slept.

Sammy woke up and came out of the bushes. She padded close to camp and fell asleep in a bush again.

Rainshadow padded to the bush that had movement, pouncing on what ever was in it. She saw it was Sammy. "Oh, sorry."
