Patchfang grabbed a rouge and bite into his neck before he could attack Rabbitpaw. He dropped the rouge and heard his leader scream. "Hawkstar!" He ran to her call to find her crumbled on the ground. Blood ran from many wounds, and pooled on the ground. Her breath had stopped. "Hawkstar!" Patchfang screamed. He fought off the rouges and dragged her to Thunderheart's den. He dropped her and faced Thunderheart. "I think she's losing a life." He told him. Patchfang turned and launched himself back into the war.

Leafpaw fumbled among the fighting cats to get a hold of here bearings. A young tom attacked the apprentice sinking his teeth in her shoulder. On instinct Leaflpaw rolled into a rock, hitting the cats head. The tom seemed to rattled by what happened to even stand.

Rabbitpaw was covered with cats, and the closest cat was Leafpaw. "Leafpaw! Help!" She screamed.

Leafpaw heard friends cry. She grabbed hold of scruffs and tails alike ripping them of the pile while batting at their noses. Quickly she helped rabbitpaw to her feet. "Where did they all come from!"

Rabbitpaw caught her breath. "I have no idea! Eaglefeather walked in with a strange cat and then they all swarmed in!" She told Leafpaw.

Leafpaw a cat to side and watched it collapse on the ground when she took out its paws from under him. "This is ridiculous, I never really liked eaglefeather, he was so boring"

"And insaine." Rabbitpaw added. A rouge snuck up on the two and was about to attack being he was way bigger than both of them, but Patchfang leaped and pinned him down and killed him. "Get out of here!" He hissed at them, the rouges blood dripping from his fangs.

"Y-you killed him" Leafpaw was shocked as she saw the clanmate's teeth. "We're told not to kill unless needed"

Patchfang just stared at her. "It was him or you. Pick." He looked at Rabbitpaw and did something shocking. He licked her forehead. "Be strong." He turned and dashed back into battle.

Leafpaw backed into Rabbitpaw. "Nggh I just started my training they should've given a warning us before they attacked!" Leafpaw, aparently had regained her ditzy self again.

Hawkstar opened her eyes to see herself in Thunderheart's den. "Oh man. I have to get back out there," she tried to stand but fell back down.
