[Fiery]

Solemnkit tried to mew but all that came out was a faint squeak. He couldn't open his mouth again because of the huge chill he received when he opened his jaws.

Rainpanther thought she heard a tiney squeak but she wasnt sure. "Ill go to it anyways." She thought. she silently padded out into the forest and let out another small yowl.

[Fiery]

Suddenly the cold caused his body to spasm and he shuddered over, and over. He cries out and keeps twitching and shuddering. He hind legs are slamming against thw rocks and sharp pain bites through his limbs and he cries out again.

Rainpanther heard a wail and bolted in the direction. She skidded around a rock and saw him spazzing on the ground. She ran up to him and layed down. She spread her fluffy tail on the ground near her belly and layed him on it so he would not touch the cold rock. She curled around him tight and licked him hard. She breathed on him and licked him and curled around him until finally he shook only a little.

[Fiery]

He curled into the fur digging borrowing until he was completely covered. He felt fear slashing through him and he dragged himself away swiftly a little ways and puked. he licked up snow off of the rocks to get rid on the taste and saw Rainpather. He didn't question it and huddled next to her once more glad, for the first time in a long time, to be alive.

Rainpanther layed her head on his and left a little space for him to breath. "We will stay here tonight. We cant risk a journey back to the clan. Wait until morning." She licked his head and brought him in closer.

[Fiery]

Solemnkit fell into a deep sleep and for once didn't dream about fear and rejection, but about having his legs back, the dreams of longing were here. His family smiled at him and purred, the thrums having an enchanting effect as they echoed off the boulders. he purred in his sleep allowing his purr to be heard.

Rainpanther did not sleep that night. She layed there watching the snow until the first ray of sunlight coated her fur. She picked Solemnkit up by the scruff and carried the kit back to camp.

Rainpanther carried the small kit into the nursery and layed him down. She curled sround him to keep him warm.

Tawnybranch stood in her place of guarding. He had watched her run off so he had took her place for the night.

Russetsun awoke the next morning and went to the medicine cat den. "Excuse me? May I please have some honey or water for my throat? Its been bothering me and I hope it doesnt continue."

"Sure, Russetsun," Leaffeather replied, padding towards the of her den and appearing with a leaf filled with honey, "Here, swallow that then get a big drink from the pool over there. That should help. If it gets worse tell me, ok."

[Speckle]

" Thank you, Leaffeather." She purred roughly, lapping at the leaf. She turned and staggered to the pool, taking a few gulps of water. When she finished she turned around and returned to camp. Russetsun scanned the camp before laying down under the tree and watching the camp.

Rainpanther licked the little kits head. "Are you ok Solemnkit?" She asked the now wakeing kit.

[Fiery]

He yawned and mewed, "I'm still a little cold, but it's better thanks." He stood up and stretched.
