Solemnkit dragged himself to the nursery, and curled up in his nest staring at the new kits, wishing he was like that; curled up with his family.

Rainpanther looked at Solemnkit and heart twisted. She walked out of the nursery and walked up to the leader. "Leader, I would like to adopt Solemnkit as my own."

Soulkeeper stood in the entrance and watched Rainpanther walk by. "Or at least i thought she was" The tom decided to sit next to the lone Solemnkit. He too longed to have his own family just like that.

Rainpanther layed down and using her tail she scooped hhim into the curve of her belly and groomed his soft kit fur.
