Luna tossed and turned in her bed as she dreamed. She saw RaggedEar's death over and over again. His cry or pain, the way he held out his paw for help, but she just stood there letting him die. She woke up and quickly left the house and up to the fence. She let the wind blow in her fur as she tried to calm down.

Rain padded deep into the forest and finally pushed herself under a weeping willow.

As soon as Raven fell asleep, she slipped out from under the tree and streached. She shivered in the cold and fluffed out her fur. It was cold and she loved every minute. It was silent and all of the sudden....... She screamed.

Rain stood there in a small clearing, her eyes wide and a smile was spread across her face. "Haha look!" She pointed up with her tail ans giggled as a snowflake landed on her nose. "Its the first snow!" She padded next to him and twined her tail with his. "Come on lets play!" she said, her words puffing around her muzzle with her breath.

The snow had now spread a thin layer of powder on the growned and she swated a pawfull at him and laughed.

Raven lay on the ground and flailed around. it looked like a blob but he pressed his paw in the snow next to it and declared, "Look what I made." he laughed.

Rain ran up and licked it up and swallowed. "Mmm yummy." She made a small pile for him.

Luna felt the cold snow and she looked to the forest. She had to know. Where was he beloved tom? He couldn't be far, somewhere he walked. Luna took a breath and jumped down and ran into the clan's forest.
