[Speckle]

Buka sighed and padded with them, her steps falling into a rythem.

Eaglefeather padded over to a patch of ground where the brush and trees grew so thickly that you could not see the ground. "This place is good. It has lots of open space inside for all of us and no one can see the inside. "

[Speckle]

Buka inspected it and quickly scaled a tree, vanishing into the bush. It turned silent and there was a rustle as she jumped out, holding a sparrow in her jaws. She dropped it and looked at Eaglefeather. "The prey runs nicely. We'll be fine here."

Eaglefeather bounded in and layed down.

[Speckle]

Buka eyed Eaglefeather suspisciously and started a pile for food in a small hole that wouldnt attract hungry dogs or foxes.

Wheel padded over from talking with his cats and scooted in next to Eaglefeather. Then, began grooming her back fur.

[Speckle]

Buka dissapeared out of the clearing and after a while she came back, bursting in with her fur puffed up and out of breath. She turned to Wheel. "Dogs...." *gasp* "They chased..." *gasp* "me."

[saberthunderclaw]

"Those flea-baggin' mutts!" Wheel spat, strutting to the edge of the bush, bracing for the dogs to come out, "I'll show them true skill!"

The dogs sprang out of the bush, drool was flung everywhere. Wheel spun around and jumped backwards onto one of the dog's back. He slashed its spine and then chomped down hard on its neck. The dog crumpled and Wheel jumped at the next one.

[Speckle]

Buka sighed, calmed herself and whirled around, leaping at one of the dogs. It was the second largest and it swatted her away. She latched onto its paw and pushed off of it, landing on its back and dug her nails into it to stay on. She balanced at a diagnal angle and clawed furiously at the dogs ears, feeling the tug and rip as blood splattered all over her. The dog yelped and reared up, sending Buka sliding down its back. It whirled around, the largest dog facing her as well.
The large dog was huge, and Buka recognized it as a Newfoundland, the dog appearing to look like a smaller black bear. The second largest was a German Shephard, one of its ears now in tatters and blood smeared on his back. They were closing in and Bukas eyes widened.

[Hawky]

Katz heard a near by dog attack. He thought about it and left his dumpster and ran to the fight. He threw himself at the Newfoundland and sank his teeth his it's side. It's blood ran into his mouth and around his teeth. The dog turned and shook him off. Katz ran at them again, but was attacked. One of the smaller dogs grabbed him in it's mouth and shook him like a rag doll. He hissed and scratched the dog's muzzle and jumped down and limp/ran over to Buka.

[Speckle]

Buka scrambled to her paws and touched her nose to the toms ear in thanks before facing the dogs, hissing. "Lets kill these oafs." She snarled, launching herself at the German Shephard who growled and tussled with her.
Buka raked her claws across the dogs nose, it tossing her off and whimpering. She landed hard, sending up dirt. But she stiffled a whimper as she got back to shaky legs. The Shephard ran at her. She whirled around and clawed right across its eyes. The dog howled and howled in pain before lashing out, chomping right down on her, almost biting her whole body. She screeched, gathering energy to flail. The annoyed and pained dog dropped her and turned tail, running blindly.

[Hawky]

Katz launched himself at another dog about his size and quickly sent it running.

[Speckle]

Buka lied on the ground, stunned by the pain but she came back to her senses and looked at Katz, out of breath. "Thank you." She managed, adjusting herself into a more comfrotable position.

Eaglefeather yowled and the dogs cowered away and turned and ran with their tails tucked.

[Hawky]

Katz nodded. "No problem. Name's Katz. Your's?"
