The five Clans of StormClan, WoodClan, FireClan, HillClan, and StreamClan are entering a dark time in which the medicine cats and the Clans' ancestors predict a storm that will break the Clans apart or bring them together. It will tear down forests, flood the rivers, and light fire to all of the fields. The Clans will have no choice but to decide to stay apart and face death or join forces to survive the storm.
