Ironpaw raised his head high and replied, "I swear."

Littlepaw shifted his paws nervously, and stuttered the words, "Yes, I.. I do."

[Speckle]

Crescentmoon watched intentivly, wanting to hear Ironpaw's warrior name.

[Hawky]

Hawkstar raised her head. "Then from this day on, you will be Ironpelt and Littleshadow! Welcome as full members of Cloudclan!"

[Speckle]

Crescentmoon lifted her head to the sky and began yowling. "IRONPELT! LITTLESHADOW!"

Ironpelt smiled in surprise and joy, his wish to be named after his father came true. Littleshadow shifted his paw and ducked his head.

[Fiery]

Airkpaw and Whisppaw yowled their names to the sky, and their ancestors who were listening.

After the cheering calmed down, Ironpelt asked Hawkstar, "We have to sit vigil tonight, don't we?"


Tigerpaw and her littermates crowded around their mentors.

"Can we go hunting," Fleetpaw meowed sweetly, her eyes bright with excitement.

"Yeah," Jetpaw added.

Tigerpaw watched by Goldenwing's side as her brother and sister pestered their mentors like bees. She calmly looked up at the she-cat and asked, "So what were you thinking we should do first."

Goldenwing smiled and replied, "Well, the first thing I learned when I was an apprentice was how to collect bedding, not just moss but other materials too. Locustfur was such a pushover," she laughed.

Tigerpaw nodded, the glint of joy still in her yellow eyes, "So what did he teach you to collect?"

"I'll show you when we get there" she replied, a hint of annoyence in her voice. She turned to Patchfang, "Hey, do you want to come with us. I'm teaching Tigerpaw to colllect bedding."

[Fiery]

Airpaw turned to Foxpounce, "So after I get showed the territory what are we going to do?"

[Furystar]

Leafpaw cheered along with her clanmates. She traveled up ther friends skidding to a hault in front of the two toms. "Congratulations!"

[Hawky]

Hawkstar jumped down from the tree and looked at them. "Yup. So you better start now."

[Speckle]

Crescentmoon slithered out of her den and smirked, sitting on the log outside the Elder den, right beside the spot for a vigil. "This'll be a looooong night." She purred happily, curling her tail around her paws.

Littleshadow shivered nervously as he thought of a night ambush by TigerClan.

Ironpelt licked Leafpaw on the forehead and replied, "Thanks, Leafpaw. You'll become a warrior soon too. Now I gotta go start my vigil. Bye." He smiled and walked towards the vigil spot, taking a deep breath before sitting down, perking up his ears, and holding his head up high. Littleshadow tried to do the same, but was racked with fear.

[Hawky]

Hawkstar walked over to them and sat infront of them. "Now you know, no talking to any clan cat unless you have to. Like if a Earthclan cat just walked in, you question them. If we're attacked, one of you calls to wake the clan, and the other on get's me. I'm getting old and in my new tree stump den, well I don't hear everything. If one of you wants to sleep, then the other one must be awake. One warrior must be awake at all times. Do you understand?"

Both warriors nodded solemnly, but Littleshadow's eyes were glazed with fear, "Yes, we do."

[Speckle]

Crescentmoon sat back up and smiled at Hawkstar. "Ill be here just like always as well." She said, looking at the new warriors. The elder had always had a habit of staying up with the warriors and helping them stay awake and check for cats. It now felt like a tradition.
