Blackie shook herself and sniffed the air. She walked to the border of Earthclan and left the thrush. She would help them with hunting during leaf-bare. She had food of her own, so she didn't care. Blackie heard voices and dashed up a tree. An orange tom and a grey tom were walking around the border. "I don't under stand why we have to mark the borders!" The grey one said. "Relax, Wolfpatch. It could be worse. At least it's quiet." The orange tom said. Wolfpatch spotted the thrush and ran over. "Tawnybranch! Come look!" The two whispered about her catch and looked around. "Prey is prey. The kittypet must be giving it to us. Go on back. I'll make sure they didn't leave any others." Wolfpatch growled and left. Tawnybranch looked into the tree. "I know your the one who left the thrush." Blackie climbed down and landed infront of him.
"I wanted to help. I'm Shadowclaw." She told him. "I know you, your from Shadeclan. Why are you here?" Blackie poked her bell and it rang out. "My name is Blackie now. The clan thinks a badger killed me. I'll be catching prey outside the border for you, if that's ok." Before Tawnybranch could speak, Wolfpatch growled. "Are you coming!?" Tawnybranch grabbed the bird and ran deeper into Earthclan.
Blackie padded back to the fence and leaped up, and down into her nest. She pushed through the cat flap and started eatting from her bowl.
"I wanted to help. I'm Shadowclaw." She told him. "I know you, your from Shadeclan. Why are you here?" Blackie poked her bell and it rang out. "My name is Blackie now.
